Dennis started Stampede Crane & Rigging based in Calgary in 1995 and grew the business to a $20M a year company in 2007 when he retired. In 2010 he began looking for a lakefront property and located and purchased at Lake Koocanusa.
His investment in the lakefront retirement property became complicated as he paid out the developer’s mortgages to help keep his dream afloat. Soon after the interest rates on the loan were not met and Dennis called his loan. After four years of legal battles with the previous developer he finally got ownership of the property this past year.
Dennis’s ownership and sole intention is to make Koocanusa Village as beautiful as everybody hoped it would be from its inception.
